Bethan qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Liverpool in 1994 and gained an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology at Bangor University in 2010. She has specialised in neurology since 1999 with experience in community rehabilitation, acute stroke and neuropsychological research, and has presented her research of neuropsychological rehabilitation in both national and international conferences. She currently works as a Senior Lecturer/Practitioner in North Wales.

Bethan is especially interested in structural and functional neuroimaging in neurorehabilitation. Her research interests include prism adaptation treatment in the rehabilitation of hemi-spatial neglect and patterns of cross-linguistic treatment generalisation of Welsh/English bilinguals with acquired dyslexia.
