Working For reach

reach provides a national service utilising a network of regional Programme Managers who guide locally based Personal Programme Assistants (PPAs) to deliver the one-to-one individually designed programmes.

To maintain our network of Programme Managers we are always interested in hearing from suitably qualified staff. Typically, we would be looking for the following qualifcations and experience from our Programme Managers:

  • An advanced higher education qualification in occupational therapy, psychology or a nuerology related field
  • At least 10 years post-qualification experience in neuro-occupational therapy
  • Accredited membership with the relevant professional body (eg: BAOT/COT, BPS, etc.)

If you are interested in becoming a Programme Manager with reach, please contact us to discuss any available opportunities.

Personal Programme Assistants are recruited to work with a particular client, so must be based close to the client's home. The individual qualities and qualification required will be specific to the needs of the client for whom recruiting is taking place and these may depend on the preferences of the client, or their, family and must consider any cultural or religious sensitivities, as well as the type of support required.

PPAs are employed by reach for the duration of the specific programme only and are renumerated for the number of hours that they work.

If we are currently recruiting for a PPA the advertisement will appear on our current vacancies.

If, like us, you are passionate about helping brain injured individuals to maximise their potential for independent living and you share the values by which we are guided, we would love for you to join us.
