Amie qualified from Canterbury Christchurch University in 2008 with a BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy and has a wide range of Neuro experience since specialising in this area in 2012. She originally founded her passion for brain injury whilst working at the Children's Trust prior to training as an OT. She worked for the Neuro Team at Royal Bournemouth Hospital in the Acute Stroke Unit, Specialist Neuro Management and Assessment Rehab Team and Neuro Outpatients.

Since 2015 she has been the Clinical Specialist and OT lead for the Wessex Neurological Centre at University Hospital Southampton. This is both a Major Trauma Centre and regional Neurosurgery and Neurology Unit. Here she provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation to a range of neuro patients, including those with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, as well as brain tumours, spinal injuries and a wide range of neurological conditions. Amie has a particular passion for cognitive rehabilitation and providing the best possible rehabilitation to her clients with a wide range of therapeutic techniques.
