Lisa qualified as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in 1986, and has since has a varied career, which includes working in the fields of brain injury, stroke, paediatrics, mental health and community rehabilitation. She gained an MSc in OT in 1994, following which she joined Herefordshire Head Injury Service as it's first OT and was involved in the development of the service. She served on the National Clinical Forum for Brain Injury, where she was involved in developing standards of practice for OT's working in this field.

Lisa has worked in many other areas of service development, including setting up an OT service for A & E and a community Reablement team, whilst always maintaining a clinical role. She is currently the Lead OT in the North Monmouthshire Integrated Services Team, managing a complex caseload whilst working on developing links with primary care services and establishing a multi-agency community well-being hub.

Lisa has been working for Reach since 2001 and is currently a Senior Programme Manager. In recent years she has been involved with the development of the Post Concussive Syndrome service, on which she jointly presented a paper in 2019 at the World Congress in Brain Injury, Toronto.

Lisa is currently involved in the development of the Reach Head Trauma Triage service.
