Lizzy qualified with a BSc in Occupational Therapy at the University of East Anglia in 2015. Whilst a student, Lizzy spent two months working on the stroke unit at Kings College Hospital in London, this started a passion and interest in neurological rehabilitation. Since being qualified she has gained a range of experience working on rotation at a large major trauma hospital in Southampton. During this time Lizzy worked within the Wessex Neurological Centre, a major trauma unit specialising in a wide range of neurological conditions. Another rotation within the Southampton hospital Lizzy worked within the Hand Therapy department learning key thermoplastic skills.

Since 2017 Lizzy has worked for an Early Supported Discharge team for the NHS supporting clients following stroke or a range of neurological diagnosis including traumatic brain injury. The team focuses on intensive early neurological rehabilitation from a multi-disciplinary approach.
